CEO and Chief Creative Officer named at mcgarrybowen China

Shanghai – January 5, 2015 – Dentsu Aegis Network has announced today the appointment of Simone Tam as CEO and Jeffry Gamble as Chief Creative Officerof mcgarrybowen China. The appointments will take effect from January 6,2015 and both will be based in Shanghai.

Simone will be responsible for the overall operation and client management of mcgarrybowen China, further developing its capabilities and driving new business development to continuously build the organization. She will report to Phil Teeman, Group Managing Director Dentsu Aegis Network China. Working closely with and reporting to Simone, Jeffry will oversee all creative works, mentor and guide the team to bring mcgarrybowen’s creativity to the next level in China. He will also be on the Dentsu Aegis Network Regional Creative Council and Global Creative Galaxy.

Simone has over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry in Hong Kong, Shanghai and San Francisco. Prior to joining Dentsu Aegis Network, Simone was President & CEO DDB Group Hong Kong & Guangzhou. Simone has ranked in the top 5 Greater China Agency Heads for the last two consecutive years. Consistently ranked as one of the top creative leaders in the market, Jeffry brings to mcgarrybowen more than 20 years of experience, predominantly at DDB Hong Kong & Guangzhou, where he served as Chief Creative Officer and was also a member of the Regional Executive Creative Council.
